Busy Bees

We had quite a busy day today! This morning we went and had a photo shoot for our Christmas card. As you might remember, we just recently had photos taken at a studio that we were perhaps going to use (see this post). It was a free thing (free photo shoot and some free prints) so we figured, why not? But then I stumbled across a local photographer, Heather Fitch (who lives in Fairview where we do!) through my friend, Anna. The other day, she had these contests going to win different things (free mini sessions with her and whatnot) but sadly, I didnt win :( However, she offered a discount on a mini session for a Christmas card for anyone who entered but did not win. So I took her up on that offer and we set it up for today. It went great and she is so nice. It was Anistynn's first photo shoot outside and despite it being about 45 degrees, she did pretty well. She fell asleep at the end though, haha. Anyway, we found our shot for our Christmas card. If you would like one, let me know and give me your address! :) Here's the shoot:

After our shoot was over, we ran a bunch of errands: Babies R Us, Walmart, and Dollar Tree. We also ran into my friend, Dana, and she finally got to meet Anistynn! :) In the afternoon, we met my dad, Josh, and Lia at the movie theater on a whim to see Hugo. It was Anistynn's first time at the movie theater! She was totally zoned out on the big screen. See for yourself:

She did really well throughout the whole thing and the movie was really good too :)

After that, we went to the Gresham tree lighting. It was 30 something degrees so we took a few pics and danced in the square to loud Christmas music to keep warm. Anistynn loved it.

After a long day out and about, we came home, ordered a pizza, and watched I'll Be Home For Christmas. Now we're exhausted, so it's off to bed! :)
