Gone

My grandma passed away on Tuesday, June 12th. I realize that it's now June 29th and I havent said anything about it on my blog. That is partly because I have been in a state of shock / denial and partly because I havent found the words yet to fully describe what I'm going through. I want to pay tribute to her too. Just be aware that there will be a few blogs to follow in the next few weeks about her life, my life with her, her death, and the lasting impact she left on everyone around her. And as always, pictures will be included.

Tomorrow is her memorial service. I'm happy to celebrate her life but am also just reminded of the fact that she is gone. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers if you could during this very difficult time. Thank you all for your support and never ending kindness thus far. It is very appreciated.

Little A Picture Update

Daddy's Day!

Well, Tony had his first Father's Day. Overall, it was nice. We got him an iced green tea from Starbucks, went to church, went to visit my grandpa for a couple of hours (with lots of Anistynn laughter), and then went over to my other grandparent's house for a BBQ with the rest of my family. Anistynn and I gave Tony a card, an iPhone cover with a picture of Baby A on it (his favorite sepia one from our Easter shoot), a Father's Day photo shoot of Anistynn (holding the letters "DAD", posing with one of Tony's old cameras, as well as just being her regular adorable self), books about daddies and daughters, (and getting his camera cleaned / getting a new computer were also Father's Day gifts). So he was quite spoiled! But he deserves it because he is an amazing daddy to our little girl and I definitely realize how lucky I am to have that in a husband. My mom also made Anistynn an outfit (I picked out the fabric - little girlie skulls) and she wore it on Father's Day because Tony likes skulls. I also had her wear a romper with a skull on it for her photo shoot. Here are a few photos of Anistynn and Tony on Father's Day:

And one from the next day:

And here's the Father's Day photo shoot (taken by Heather Fitch of HF Photography):

Here's our gifts to Tony (along with cards from friends and family):

So nice!

THD = The Hallow Design.

For those of you that dont know what The Hallow Design is.... well, get on it! It's my husband's photography business. Tony takes wonderfully amazing pictures of all kinds. He has a natuaral talent. I know I'm biased, but if you dont believe me, go see for yourself! Check out his website and his Facebook page (click on the links to the right of this post for both ------->)

We are excited because we were finally able to upgrade to a better computer for him. He's also getting Photoshop and Lightroom so he can edit his photos better.

Here's some more recent pictures he has done:
