Pics # 16

Some notes:

~ Anistynn got her first official purse, a wiener dog! She loves carrying it around :)
~ The red and black hat was made for her by her Grandma Irina!
~ This January, at 16 months, was the first time Anistynn has ever slept with anything in her crib. We have started putting her favorite stuffed animal, Gaga, in there with her every night. Although on her first night with one, we put in Chequers, as is shown below in the photo.
~ The adorable purple dress is from her Great Grandma Bonnie.
~ Anistynn adores talking to her Great Gramps and she gets so excited to call him on the phone. She gets even more excited when she hears and recognizes his voice :) I love it.
~ She's teething :(
~ We got a new vacuum cleaner - a Dyson Animal! I am so dang excited! I've wanted it for a very long time but it is so darn expensive. We found it for $400 off the regular price at Costco! I was sooo stoked!

Since He's Been Gone...

Tony is in Durango this week for 7 days! He's never been gone from A overnight (or myself for more than a night since we got married) so it's quite different. I thought I would have a hard time with A because she clings to her daddy so much but we've had a good time together, just the two of us! I thought it would be especially hard at night because he always puts her in her crib for bed... but not only has she not cried, she has been going in her crib completely awake (she's usually rocked to sleep) and doesnt make a peep! She sleeps through the night and then some, like always. She is fabulous! We really won the sleep lotto with this child.

I'm wondering if she actually understood some of what I told her when daddy left! I told her that he was going to be gone for a little bit and that it would be just her and I for a while... She usually goes to the door when it's getting late in the day because that's when Tony would usually come home from work. But she didnt do that at ALL while he has been gone, almost as if she knows he isnt going to be coming yet. Crazy!! Anyway, she has done great and I'm a proud Mama. Although, I miss my husband like crazy!!! He gets home on Monday. I am SO excited, obviously. I've always recognized how much of a help he is but it was just reiterated this week. I'm so grateful for him and all that he does. Even though A was great and I can totally handle her by myself, it's nice to have help (and extra love) around.

Here's some photos of A and I throughout this week:
