It comes naturally

Writing has always been a creative outlet for me. Whether I was writing stories as a little kid, putting together essays for school, or trying to relieve some sort of stress I was going through, writing has been a constant in my life. A lot of issues I have had, opinions I have formed, and thoughts about things going on around me have all been written down in one of the many notebooks, diaries, or journals I have lying around my house. I'm starting this blog because it's just one more way for me to retain my writing skills. I don't ever want to lose that if I can help it. I know that I get busy with everything that goes on in my life, from work to friends to family to my personal life - and sometimes, writing gets put on the back burner because I don't have time or I'm just too tired, claiming that I will do it later. Which doesn't usually happen. So I figured that I would jump in and start my own blog. It made sense seeing as how much I am on the computer, due to work. How can I NOT have time for this when it's right at my fingertips? So let's get started.

Introductions are to be made. Maybe you know me and maybe this is the first time you have even heard of me. I will try to include enough information to create an impression on you about who I am, both on the inside and the outside. My name is Danielle Way. Over the years I have been called many nicknames ranging from the obvious ('Danielley' or 'D') to the totally random ('Dennis'). I, myself, like to come up with nicknames for everyone I am close to. I am 21 years old and not the typical partying junkie. I won't lie and tell you that I have never done that stuff because I have had my experiences. But that rarely happens. I have never done any type of drug or smoked anything and I plan to keep it that way. I am 5'4", brown hair and hazel e
yes, and I have an athletic build. I'm not a gym buff but I love to go running and keep toned by doing yoga and Pilates. I come from a big family. A blended family. I will give you the whole story in a later blog. But I love my family very much. My friends are also very important to me and I am blessed to have found the ones in my life. I love animals and I have 2 cats and 1 dog. My dog lives with my grandparents though and I think they really need him there. They have become so attached to him, it only fits. I hope to have a couple dogs in the future and to get at least 1 horse. That would be a dream come true. My favorite color is red, I love to watch movies, I overeat Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, I can't live without my weekly edition of In Touch magazine even though I'm not huge on celebrity gossip, my car's name is Carlee and she is a pretty red Corolla S, I have a boyfriend who I plan on spending the rest of my life with, I watch Friends every chance I get no matter how many hundreds of times I have seen the episodes, and I'm the manager of a hotel in Durango, a popular tourist town in Southern Colorado.

That is a very surfaced version of who I am. That is what everyone sees on the outside. But when you're looking a little harder toward the inside, it's a whole other story. But for now, this is all I will write. I will try to write in this as often as I can. This blog is for both my sake and for anyone wh
o wants to keep updated in my life. I appreciate any and all comments, and if it's just me ranting and raving, then so be it. Come back and visit me.
