What Every Pregnant Woman Needs

This morning I woke up early around 7:30. I couldnt go back to sleep. So Tony and I got up and ate breakfast. Then we ran some errands:

- Picked up my In Touch from Safeway.
- Picked up my Iron supplement from the pharmacy (my doctor prescribed it for me yesterday since she said my blood count was slightly low, so I need to take an Iron pill once a day).
- Found a storage unit to store our extra furniture and whatnot in.
- Went to Best Buy and spent my gift certificate from them that I got in my email for my birthday.
- Went to Borders and picked up a few books for both Tony and I since they're going out of business and everything was 40% - 50% off.
- Went to Old Navy and picked up some jeans for Tony.
- Went and picked up a pizza for dinner from Papa Murphy's (and we got a free cookie dough - another email perk I received for my birthday).
- Went to the bank and deposited paychecks and the change from Miss Piggerton (yes, I have a name for my piggy bank) =]

That last one is probably the best thing we could have done all day as I picked up some very important advice that you can bet your eye I'm heeding. The teller (who has a baby that's about to turn 1 on September 24th - one day after Anistynn's due date!) recommended that I try Red Raspberry Leaf Tea. She said she heard about it from her husband's coworker and so she started drinking it a couple months before her son was born and her labor was 4 hours. She said that she started telling everyone she knew who was pregnant about it and she's already heard back from a good percentage of them that all of their labors were fairly short. It's completely safe for pregnant women to drink and I can pick it up anywhere. Well, whether it really works or not (or if it's just a mind thing), it doesnt hurt to try!!! And if for some reason my labor ends up being short, I may just mention it to my other pregnant friends..... ;)

You can Google it and you'll see how many stories about it come up. Here's a couple more links that I was looking at if you're interested in learning more about it:

Apparently, it's supposed to tone your uterus and it has all these vitamins in it that are great for baby and mom. And it's caffeine-free too, so bring it on! :)

My mom took the same name brand but for milk production and it seemed to work also!

what?! 4 hours is a short labor I think I just died and decided never to have children. I would drink a box a day for sure.
