I've actually been really busy today - taking care of baby girl, getting things together to mail out, taking care of next month's bills (the early ones), and doing some odd jobs around the house - so I dont have much energy to blog tonight. But a couple of updates:
- We switched Anistynn to Similac Sensitive which helps with fussiness and gas.... As you might recall, she was having some tummy troubles and just looked miserable while trying to go potty. We were using Gerber Good Start but once we switched, she seemed to have an immediate change in demeanor. She still fusses a little but it's nowhere like it was before, where mommy could hardly bear it because I couldnt do much for her =( So that's great! Let's hope it stays that way. Similac Sensitive is also for a lactose allergy, which might have been the problem. She's not lactose intolerant (she'd have to be diagnosed with that later on in life - and I hope she isnt) but she could have an allergy to the other formulas so she'll have to use the special ones.
- Anistynn has also gotten her first diaper rash =( It breaks my heart because she really does seem like she's in a lot of pain whenever we're changing her diaper. We've been using Desitin but it doesnt seem to be working magic. The rash is a bit more splotchy instead of being so solid but other than that, it's just a waiting game. I might try getting some 7th Generation wipes because I've heard that those clear up any existing diaper rashes and prevent new ones; it's just nice on baby's bum. So maybe we'll try that.
